The nuclear level 2 globe valve independently developed and manufactured by China Huanqiu Valve Group Co., Ltd. has officially passed the national appraisal made by the joint appraisal committee composed of the China Machinery Industry Federation, the National Nuclear Safety Administration and other units.
After the experts of the joint appraisal committee tested the nuclear power valves that have been produced in small batches in the workshop, they evaluated that the group’s nuclear level 2 globe valve manufacturing technology has reached the technical leading requirements of domestic nuclear power plants and is qualified to accept market orders for large-scale production. In December last year, the National Nuclear Safety Administration issued the “Design Qualification License” and “Manufacturing Qualification License” for civil nuclear pressure equipment to the company.
Nuclear power valves are large-scale and wide-ranging hydraulic equipment in nuclear power plants. They connect more than 300 systems in the entire nuclear power plant and are key accessories for the safe operation of nuclear power plants. They have a lifespan 25 years longer than ordinary valves. Nuclear level 2 stop valves are a type of nuclear power valve, mainly used on auxiliary pipelines of nuclear power plant equipment.
